Designing Telecollaboration Projects for Developing Intercultural Communicative Competence

As the ways of communication and interaction have diversified thanks to constantly developing changing technological possibilities, educators try do their best follow recent implementations activities better prepare students for real world demands. Telecollaboration (aka virtual intercultural exchange) is one such language which an affordable alternative study abroad. Through these studies, design some tasks in learners could interact with peers from other contexts synchronously or asynchronously. outcomes projects, researchers plan develop communicative competence (ICC) learners. In first part this paper, discuss necessity education by elaborating on skills that individual ICC should have. second part, we present affordances challenges telecollaboration projects. final unpack critical issues be considered a project. We consider as set guidelines planning engage teacher research practices.
